Is there any know way to deal with 'the hermit' master quest other than....

   I had a ball finishing 'the hermit' master quest it took me like 9 trys and I found no other way to do it other than use my sovereign and all catapults becuase they are strong and shoot twice.  I was trying it with a party of the 9 minions you can summon but no way can you beat it with them.  I know there are other ways I was hoping other would reply with their ideas here.   It was rewarding to see it get beat i just don't know how else you could attack it (other than catapults)? -Jeremy Sr.
