Game Speed query

OK - I have been finding tech development a bit fast for my liking so have decided to fiddle with game speed; I'm assuming:

Epic - takes longer to get new tech and magic

Normal - what it says

Fast  - tech and magic research goes faster

Is this correct? :blush:

 

Next - how much do the settings alter the speed of development?

yes that is correct. I think I prefer epic myself. I keep hopping back and forth between the two with each patch. Haven't finished my large 10 ai, normal game yet, will go epic tomorrow if I manage to finish this one out.

Played a bit more and definitely warming to Epic.  Would be nice to have 2 more speed options between the current 3 to experiment with, so:

 

Epic

New speed A

Normal

New speed B

Fast
