I am curious, it's a very old thread, but has the MMORTS genre games for space strategy like OGAME, evony-in-space, etc, has that all died out now in favour of League-of_legends type stuff.   Even ogame/dark-orbit seem to have fewer players now.  I'm looking for a new game in that empire-building strategy game mode but something more modern than ogame/travian and I don't want to play plarium/facebook games.
