yep. having the same problem. it's a memory leak.

there's nothing you can really do on your end, except restarting the game every now and then. stardock will fix it, have faith.

Ok, let's hope they adress the memory leak in the next patch.

You can google for a 3gb enabler and use it for the Elemental executable for now. Remember even if you have 8gb of RAM, Elemental is a 32-bit process so it can really only use 2gb. Enabling the "large address aware" header in the executable (which doesn't actually modify it so it's fully compatible with everything) gives it more wiggle room from the OS, and some people have been posting that it helps them quite a bit.

To, twiggle on the resolutions may also help.

Thanks for the proposal.

Basically, a solution that solves the conflict causing the error would be optimal.

All increasing the address space will accomplish is a delay of the inevitable. You'll get crashes, just not quite as frequent.

Ofcourse, but giving it another GiB to leak into is quite a bit, it should probably double the time to crash or more. I'll be sure to try it if the crashing isn't fixed in the next patch.

Is this leak still related to Havoc? (I have crashes too by the way :'( )
