Bug - unable to equip Items to Sovereign and some of my children -

Any one else getting this?

Hi

Chose a Sov with Merchant and Meditation skills -  extra magic points and extra Gold.  Problem is that when i go into the character page.  No equip Button is present.  On the heroes - who mostly only have one skill if any -  there is an equip button. Some of my children have one skill and they have an equipmet button.  but the children who also have Merchant and Meditation skills are also missing the equip (or is it equipment) button.  The small shield on the bottom of the Character Portrait isn't there anymore.  and pressing E isn't opening the inventory of the selected character.

Guessing it might be a framing problem with the character sheet - or something.  the extra skill pushes the frame for the equipment button off the page maybe. 

Still having lots of fun. --  just thought i'd mention it to see if anyone else can confirm it for the hard working guys at SD

I couldn't load my last save game with the new patch.  So using the same character i started a new game and I do have an Equip button in the character screen this time.  Pressing the E button still isn't working for me and there is no little shield button on the portrait to access the inventory.  So maybe the last patch fixed it.  I'll post again if it happens again.

Just messing around I added to my character History - making it a bit longer - when i loaded the game - I once again didn't have an Equip Button on the character page.   So it may just have been that with the 2 skills The button was pushed off the page.  As a long Character History does push the Equip Button off the page in 1.06.  I'd post a screen shot but i have no idea how to add screenshots  :)

I have noticed this too and I have tracked problem to starting equipment. So if you want to be able to use any item there is you have to make completely naked sovereign.

The little button on the portrait was removed as it was redundant--you can open the inventory screen via the sword-and-shield button next to the HP bar.

There is also a minor issue(1.06) that when you press the big round picture to get to the heirgemenon, if you sov is by himself you can press an equip button there. If he is with other troops, even if only he is selected, the equip button isn't there.

Thanks Kryo - I actually worked that out a few hours after I  posted this bug -- the long back story - or picking a flaw (i chose ugly for the extra three points)  still pushes the buttons frame off the character sheet.  So now i know about the button i can get around it -  but it does need a fix.

If u take the sov or hero into a city then u can use the equip, buggy ;)
