What's your Funny Elemental Experience?

Post a funny experience that happened in game to you.

I wish I took pictures, but the funniest thing that happened to me was I was exploring and came to a peninsula-esque thing. There a lonely champion awaited for a kingdom, with a spider on the block next to him. The fellow was asking for too much gildar - all he did was get an extra move. Then I read he is quote thing. It went something like this, "Why has everyone forsaken me?".

So I felt bad for the guy. I recruited him. I told him to get to the nearest base. Each turn though, the camera cut to him. I was getting pissed and figured it was a bug. After about 20 turns, I couldn't take it. I actually looked at the area instead of ignoring it and BAM - he was trapped in the peninsula - part of it was surrounded by mountains so him and Mr. Spider were just stuck.

Sadly, my Sovereign was not the most magical in nature. I could handle fire and enchantments, but I could not lower mountains.

Eventually I had him fight Mr. Spider. He died alone that day(poor sap probably had a club, champions suck to start with)

My second favorite was when there was a champion who looked like the magnar guys, and had a pony tail on top of head or something, but it looked similar to a mohawk. His quite was "The fools, I pity". I don't know if Stardock tried to make a guy like Mr. T, but it was awesome - his name was even similar to B A Baracus.
