Normal AI has Earth Elemental on turn 10!!!!

At first I was a little aggitated that he was so close, so I tried to take advantage and rush him.  How is an Earth elemental (att:92 def: 11) on turn 10? And the king is level 4?  I just made the first pioneer!!!!

 

(I am sure it is around turn 10, but is there anyway to tell exactly what turn it is?)

If you take Earth Magic you get summon EE at L3 or 4

but how did he get there that quick? there was no arcane tile bonus, he did 30 turns of research with 1 arcane point oer turn in 10 turns?

Was this a minor power or major power? If minor, they get random guardian units since they don't do much else.

Top right has a turn counter.

Sounds like a minor kingdom, they are a little strong at start.

There is an item that summons an earth elemental regardless of your spell capabilities.  Maybe he found that.

I love that they can be wicked strong starting out, or wicked weak. Determines how you might want to handle them. They've got crappy spider guardians? Yay free town!.... they've got a Dragon!? oh noes, i'll send them a trade caravan :)
