Getting a refund?

Wow. Lack of patience much? Have you even updated to the day 0 patch?

If you don't like it now, you may very well in a month, and certainly in 6 months. Stardock updates and sticks by its games for years, unlike most developers.

If you want to get a refund, go ahead, but you'll regret it.

Or trying a mail to the sales department if you feel like it.

One more copy of Elemental for the rest of us. Try modding, see if you like the game more. Modding is going to be a MAJOR element of Elemental.

OP has been whining since 15 minutes after pre-release.  Let him leave, we're better off.

You can also stop making one of these threads every day, or you will get a shiny ban to go with it, too.

Do what I did, and e-mail [email protected] with a refund request. There was another thread about it, with Frogboy giving out refund information.

To all the people saying that one should give the game a chance - I will, in a couple of months, when it's been patched up and the price has dropped somewhat; but there's no way in hell anyone should pay $50 for a beta product (which is still bug-ridden after 1.05).

I doubt the price will drop in "a couple months" unless Stardock completely gives up on it.  In my opinion it is a AA title and with some work can reach AAA status.

Maybe half a year, or a year the price will drop but don't hold your breath for one any time soon.

But if you kept it, you wouldn't have to buy it again, and I have yet to see a Stardock product not 2 years old that has had a price reduction

Yah have a little faith. Although im not suprised at PC Gamers rip on the release and expect more of the same from other media outlets I think Stardock working WITH the beta and modding community will create a better game in the end than if they just polished it their own way and turned their backs on us after release. I'm having a blast playing and have only had one crash due to tabbing out in fullscreen mode. Turned off full screen in options and now I'm in and out no problem. Game is running smooth and stable for me after the day 0 patch and I'm excited to see this thing evolve. There are issues in the mechanics of the game that will no doubt be addressed. I have the utmost faith in the developers as well as the community surrounding this game.

Over hyped? Maybe. Rushed release? Probably. But I'm having fun and not going anywhere. Thank you Stardock.

Now you're just trolling.  Frogboy already offered you a full refund.

The guy who made the thread knows how to do it. He made a thread yesterday about it and was told the same thing. He made another one today. He just thinks he's clever.

Hopefully in a couple of months the game will be in a shape you feel warrants your money
