Disapearing Units

any one else have issues with this?

Yeah I've had this happen, largely only in the campaign though.

I've had hero's mysteriously disappear in the sand box mode.  I had a stack of troops with 2 heroes and my main character, I garrisoned them in a city by accident and when I tried to expel them on my main character was there and the regular troops...the hero was gone.

Did you run out of money?

not money and I dont see anything in the negative. food is 0

I had that happen earlier today with heroes.  When I looked closely at the little circles with the hero picture the two heroes I had that were the same type were stacked together - there was a little 2 on the picture.

When I clicked only that one unit and moved him out of the town it moved both the heroes.

Was a moment of panic trying to figure out what the heck happened.

Not sure if this is what you are experiencing but it sounds the same!

I have a problem where half my units disappear after a battle.   I'm pretty sure they were just dead though.

Yeah, I think the auto-stacking can be a little disorienting at first.  Obviously if you're aware of the way units stack, and can confirm that's not it please say something.  It sounds like that happened in the instance that is not involving the dragon.

I had a hero (my sovereign's spouse no less) disappear after defeating a wolf in the wilderness. She was accompanied by troops (who didn't disappear) and I was swimming in money.
