Some questions I have regarding game mechanics

Some questions that came up for me as I played around with the game (while waiting for the eminent day-0 release :D)

1) What determine the number of enchantment slots your casters have (as in "Enchanted Weapon" and "Enchanted Armor" spells) ?

2) Does the "Brilliance", "Nature Bounty", "Defiance", and other city enhancement spells take slots (as in question number 1 above) ?

3) How do I upgrade a unit (after deigning the better version), if this is even possible ?

Thanks.

1) The number of enchantment slots is equal to your current Essence, at least from beta. I haven't heard them changing it.

2) Yes, any maintained spell (enchantments and summons) take up a slot.

3) Right now, no. You can upgrade an existing design to use new equipment, but you can't upgrade any units you already built.

And that seems really weird to me. The guy knows how to wield an axe and now that I have a sword He can't be thought how to use it.... Should have  a school for veterans to teach them to be better...

A peasant is better than my veteran .... does not hold water

Thanks :D. though a shame regarding the lack of upgrading

I guess a mass march to slaughter every once in a while to cull out the week (obsoletes) is in order (playing Empire }:) )

Maybe a way to "retrofit" units can be implemented.

Fighting with an axe doesn't equal fighting with a sword, both are completely different fighting styles and ways to be trained technically. So it does kinda fit that you can't outfit in a way, that being said, I hope some day we can just for ease of use.
