Why can't I edit the channelers I create and save?

So that's it a done deal? Once saved you can't go back and make changes for a new game? Um I hope they fix this I don't want to have to make a new channeler every single game!

I hate this response but...It's in the XML files =p  You can go in and edit it and turn them into supermen once you make them.  Look under  documents/games/elemental and you'll find your units in there.

This had better be in a patch. I want to customize my character to be perfect over multiple plays.

Er yeah I'm not looking for a cheat I just want to be able to edit and work on one channler that I have worked so hard to create and save!
