How will pre-download work (detailed steps)?

 Anyone know the exact steps to start the pre-download of the game?  i.e. Will i get an email, click the link and bingo.  OR do I have to log into Impulse every 15 mins to see if there is an update?

The only email I have is confirmation that I pre-ordered, from months ago. Shouldn't I have some other email (I've seen other posts of people with emails)? I am getting a little concerned as it's 11:15am and I haven't received one email. 

Just wondering?

You should get an e-mail. That's how the Beta worked but since the Beta is over we should all get a new e-mail with a new serial number. I think.

I dont think so. Beta players already have the game activated, their serials should just be reactivated within Impulse, and we should be good to go.

Same as any download in Impulse (Install game on My Games tab). We'll announce once the wheels start turning.

You do realise that until it's released myself and 5 of the 6 billion people on Earth are going to be hitting refresh on impulse every 3/4 seconds? Just think of the drain this is causing on the world's energy sources and how it is clogging up thee interwebs! If SD have any sort of social conscience they'll release the game now :-) :P.
