Beta: I have an update available but key is wrong.

I have 1.85GB update available (v.1.0). Remembering about "clean install" recommendation, I have uninstalled beta 4, but no I can not install the v1.0 game because of the same problem - key is wrong.

So, now I am without beta 4 and can not install new update

They're probably just getting ready for this weekend and ready to preload things to people to lessen the load on the servers. Most likely when/if they enable in on Sunday night that's when everyone's keys will work and downloading will begin.

Unless of course maybe they're going to surprise us and give it to us even earlier in which case you just let the cat out of the bag, but I doubt that's it..lol.

They said the other day they were shutting down beta downloads due to setting up for the real deal. Beta testers will get access again earlier then preorders so you will get access again in a few days I guess since preorders get access Monday. Until then yeah your key is disabled.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem.  I went on to play some and it told me I should update.  I was excited because I was hoping that they were giving it to us even earlier than the expected Sunday release.  Then it told me my registration was invalid, which is just wrong.

Same thing here, so now I lost the Beta 4 was trying out a few things.

So I have nothing til they release it.

Very not cool guys.

The UPDATE Erases the Beta so if your like me and were still messing about with it DO NOT UPDATE, it steals your game and soul.

yea i thoguht mine was invalid,... so bought another copy of game... oops

probably will be working tomorrow or at least saturday

And it's not even the 1.01, it is the 1.00 gold version thats up on Impulse...I got soooo excited when Impulse told me there was an update available. Evil, evil Stardock. To mess with people like that. 

The WEB site says today is the relese now, but I fear all pre orders are bleesed with invalid SNs.

The "evil" part is that when I was trying to run Beta 4 to continue my game, It said something along the lines "New update is available, it is HIGHLY recommendable to install it" and ... well, no Beta 4, no v.1.0 game

Edit: Yes, add here that webpage show now release today, so I was really excited with the v.1.0 but "evil, evil" stardock fooled me.

Ah, whom I am kidding. Stardock has so much "political capital" with me, that this is easily forgiven Just please fix it for weekend, that would be so great!

Guys, it's just a few days.  It's not like Stardock was deliberately trying to screw you (they have no history of EVER trying to do anything but right by gamers?) - please give them a break? 

Same here. If they are going to acknowledge the mistake and fix it I am ok with it.

As posted in the sticky two days ago in the main Elemental forum, the Beta is over and can no longer be installed. Keys will be reactivated when we make the final game available.
