Ordering Elemental off Impulse

I've been anticipating this game so long, and only recently did I notice that the release date was drawing closer, so I went to my local EB Games (I live in Canada), and to my horror, they weren't accepting preorders for it! Neither were Best Buy or Amazon.ca. The game is virtually nonexistant in Canada. I want the boxed version of the game, but I don't want to wait the indeterminable amount of time it will take for suppliers to finally get a copy of this. I've heard that you can order the boxed version off Impulse, but I have a few questions about it before I do:

1. Will I have to pay extra for customs since Stardock is a US company?

2. Will it take extra time to get delivered?

1. Unpredictable. My experience with shipping from the US is that customs will sometimes ding things, and sometimes they won't. It also depends how Elemental is being shipped. UPS charges a brokerage fee as part of the shipping cost but for a shipment like this you shouldn't have to pay extra for customs. USPS/Canada Post depends on how it's marked in the documents and random luck of the draw (not every package is checked for customs, even when they should be).

2. Unless Stardock is shipping UPS high priority, almost certainly. Just how long is also unpredictable. On the upside, any order through Stardock is registered digitally as well so you'll be able to download it with Impulse on release day while waiting for your box.

Yep, I ordered the Limited Edition box as well.  I certainly don't expect it to arrive until Wednesday at the earliest (I live in Michigan).  But I'll be happily playing the game already since I can download it off Impulse on Tuesday as soon as it's released.

Hey Stardock, can I drive to your office and just pick it up and save on shipping and get it on Tuesday?  ;)
