Going nuts waiting for Elemental, what to do?

Not since Baldur's Gate II release have I pre-ordered a game, and am just sitting here tripping, VERY excited.

So, any of you guys have any suggestions of games, or things to do to help me from going mad??

Go go GOG.com (stands for Good Old Games I think) and get the old MOM (Masters of Magic). Elemental is the spiritual successor. Or if you pre-ordered here just play the beta version.

The beta is closed. You no longer get access after buying it. :'(

As for GOG, yeah I have been there. Not really many games I want to get. Great for nostalgia, but that's it.

Sleep.  Exercise.  Cook something.  Pull out Universe at War and consider actually finishing it.  Play Risk: Factions online and mark all the ragequitters with 'Avoid This Player'.  Post random crap on Facebook.  Wonder how much better Left 4 Dead would've been if it actually had anything interesting in it aside from the AI director.  Wonder if Sins of a Solar Empire is any good online (my friends don't play much online together, anyway.)

Hmm...there's always Spectromancer if you haven't played that.

Playing Kings Bounty Armored Princess between my Sins sessions. Keeping me pretty busy. But thanks for the suggestion.

Exercise? Pffttt, now you are just making up words... ^_^

Lord of the Rings Online new content Beta.

I'd be there but it was taking too long to download so I said screw it.

I can wait..............maybe *grin*

I'm thinking of pre-ordering this game.  The into reminded me of an old game called Lords of Magic, which could have been a truly great game but wasn't.  The game also reminds me of Heroes of Might and Magic, a very good game (and series).

At any rate, because Stardock is making it, it should be an excellent game!  Is there anyone here, who has played in the beta, that would like to comment on how it plays?

They said the final version has significant differences...so no, not really.

I got a update on facebook that says:

"Elemental: War of Magic Now, one thing I think I can say (and I’m not promising this because all things are ultimately decided by the IT gods) but it is our plan to make the “gold” version of the game available a bit early to those in the beta and those who pre-order will also likely get it a bit early. We hope to start pre-loading Elemental onto machines early to mid next week to reduce strain."

So if we are lucky, the wait will be over soon.

That would be very cool if it happens!  Gotta love the customer service!

I hope they don't do that. Beta players already have an advantage over others (thinking of online play), and if they are to get the full version earlier would seem a bit much.

Ah well, I don't play online anyways, just thinking of them that do.

I personally think it'll be awesome to finally see the use of digital distributions advantages instead of treating it just like retail.

Yeah, if we were talking about people buying the game via the digital, but we are talking about people that where in the beta.....

Eh, that's not what was mentioned. The people from the BETA might get it earlier....not people buying the digital version.

I fail to see your point.  All the people in the beta have access to the digital version, which would make my statement true.
