 Now is it just me or are the summoned creaters OK to start with, and mostly uselless by the time you get to the end?

It took for ever to reserch Titan, and it can only be cast once, and only lasts 5 turns.

for 83 combat rating? WTF! I can build single non-magical troups at this stage in teh game with combat ratigns of 90, now I know CR isnt the be all and end all, but in the time I took to lean this amaszing titan spell, I coudl of made a company of units with a CR in the mid to high 16 hundreds. 440 HP, 610 attack and 610 defence.

What am I doing wrong?

man, the game settings are just temporary beta, there is no balance or whatsoever, this stage is to test bugs and mechanics not to balance things

 

 

lets wait next beta and go step by step

 

also dont forget the cost of a summon is nearly zero

while building a pack of powerful soldiers costs a lot of money/metal etc

Also in our build there are no abilities activated. I'm sure things like the fire elemental will have some sort of ability. Obviously the balance isn't there yet for the summons though.

Also, at the beginning of the game, the problem is the opposite: Prosipinee (however it is spelled) has access to them very early on, and that early in the game a couple summoned giants that cost nothing (aside, of course, from quickly recharging essence) can simply steam roll any more costly champions or military units.

But yes, of course this shall all be rebalanced.
