So how do dynasties currently function ?

Very poorly at the moment. We're still waiting for diplomacy etc to get in.

Once you have your first kid, you can expect 3 more, 2 years apart...  Don't know if you can have more, as I haven't made it too far into a game beyond having the 4th kid. 

Would be nice to mix that up a bit, maybe the champs could pick up some random traits in the game, like the one you just married is sterile, only you wouldn't know that.  It could change from game to game, she's sterile in one, prone to having twins in the other, good for only 1 kid,  etc....

If more depth for dynasties doesn't make it in the final version, wouldn't that be an awesome expansion topic tho??

^^ Absolutely... They could get crazy with it if they wanted to, allowing the kids to get married, have kids...  Dynasties merging together as they marry off...  Maybe tracking all that would get a little too crazy tho.

I can't for the life of me figure out what to do with the sovereigns kids i collect after i beat that empire.

Since they are not my flesh and blood and i can't marry them to mine (not that i have found out how to if you can)

I send them to cities to help out or if they are warrior types i keep them with me since they are expendable at least for now.

I use to love taking my queen with me for many years to adventure together and grow in power but hate it when she dies.

Since it seems impossible to remarry at this piont.

Is it shallow to put all the Queen's level up points into Charisma?
