Retail Availability - Gamestop

per Customer service at Gamestop ([email protected]) there is no information in their system regarding Elemental: War of Magic. Is it possible for someone at Stardock to contact them since they do not want to listen to the person that will be spending money at their store? It is funny getting the cold shoulder when I am requesting something to purchase.

Game isn't released yet. Only true preorder through Impulse (if you pretend to get access to beta).

Given what Gamestop pulled with Demigod, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have Elemental on release day(or at all).

I doubt very very much that they won't be selling Elemental (and try to screw Sardock releasing it days before the Digital Release). But if that were to happen, I swear to buy an extra digital copy to celebrate (that someone punishes them for the repeated and TOTALLY intentional early releases).

while there are many things that Gamestop does as a retailer that i understand it does seem that they really are getting tough on niche markets. i think they forget that gaming as a whole used to be a niche market.... they are part of an uncaring corporate machine....

Not sure if you care or not, but pre-ordering through any retailer will NOT get you into the beta. Only pre-ordering through Stardock directly gives the option of entering the beta.
