World Name Contest

  Well I have this idea stolen from Aractain in an earlier thread, Elemental: Rebuilding a civilization                                                                                       

 "Also is the world called elemental?  Because that seems a strange name for a planet (or a plane that isnt 'elemental')."

  We need a name for the world of Elemental.  Were gonna play this game add infintum so it should be somewhat memorable.  I haven't seen Frogboy or anyone else mention a name yet.  If there is one already picked, then please let me know?  Otherwise we should have a contest or something for the name.  I am going to suggest a name(just one) and hope the rest of you follow suit(write as many as you want but really should stick with fewer names, higher quality).

Frogboy has already said the name of the world is indeed "Elemental". At least that is its name for the main plot arc.

Darkodinplus is right, I remember someone complaining about it. Frogboy stated how we named our planet after dirt so Elemental couldn't really be a bad name for the world.

Oops, I thought that was sarcasm.  Frogboy??  I did read that also but I thought it was a placeholder name.  Gonna track that down..

  Yea this is really funny.  It was in the post that I quoted- Elemental: Rebuilding a civilization that has Frogboy's responce to Raven X question about the name.  I apologize for not remembering.  Still think Raven X is right about the name convention being inadequate for the lore of the game.

For the sandbox mode at least, the name will be randomly generated.

While we are at it, I always loved Tolkien's naming of places/creatures/people. Thangorodorim, Isengard, Udun, Gorgoroth, Barad-dur etc. Simply epic. :smitten:

How do you know that we didn't name our dirt after the planet?
