ok, stupid question...what the heck is this game? what other game is it like? it looks like it has a "turns" system, like the old star fleet battles stuff, or the old mech warrior rpg's, no?

looks interesting, but I couldnt participate in a beta like this, it would bother me to be missing features, so I'll think abotu purchasing it after it goes full version.
