transferring hotkeys from Entrenchment to Diplomacy

I havent played Entrenchment for quite some time, but did play quite a bit.  Now I've got Diplomacy and I'd like

to get my hotkeys and key bindings from Entrenchment  moved over, but I dont want to figure out each and every key

to do so.

Is there an easier way?

too bad Diplomacy didnt just update entrenchment....

thanks!

It's better having separate keybind settings files.  This way they won't get screwed up every time you want to play regular Sins or Entrenchment.

I just literally made a backup of the diplomacy hotkey file, and copied my entrenchment hotkey file over to it, and it worked.  You'll have to find the files, but they are called ui.setting and diplomacy.ui.setting or something like that.

The files are located here:

On Vista/7: C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting
On XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting

So the Entrenchment uimappings.setting file = the Diplomacy file?

It certainly worked for me.  Just copy the former over to the latter, i.e. copy uimappings.setting to diplomacy.uimappings.setting.
