What happened to the third micro-expansion? What gives Ironclad.

What happened to the third micro-expansion? What gives Ironclad.

Alright back before when Entrenchment was announced Ironclad said it would be the FIRST of THREE expansions for SINS.

The first would focus on defense, the second on civic/diplomacy and the last one on combat and ships. THE MOST DESIRABLE one of the three got cancelled now? What gives Ironclad?

Does anyone remember their miserable excuse for cancelling the last micro-expansion? Would rage-posts and rants and hate mail to Ironclad help change their minds?   :D

honestly, i prefer to have them scrap the 3rd micro expansion and start work on Sins 2... the game engine in Sins 2 is just too limited in my opinion...

all the complaints on the forums are evidence of this, and here is just no way to fix it without a major re-write, so why not just start a new game.

Quoting BlackHawk141, reply 23I think with bigger ships, bigger explosions shown in TV Advertisements, will help entice people into this game, then FINALLY THE HAWK CAN COME BACK TO WHOOPING CANDY ASSES!
Boys, do you know how much is the cost of TV advertisements or other type of advertisements ?

Today, it become more easy with Impulse but when sins was released, there was not Impulse... TV advertisements have certainly double the cost of the game... more, before the release, nobody have think that a game like sins will work so good...

I think that a Sins-2 would benefit from some marketing, but not TV marketing.  Perhaps targetted marketing would be cost-effective--such as banner ads at web forums and sites that cater to gamers in addition to "viral" marketting on discussion forums where they hire someone to join gamer forums and talk about how good the game is.

Merit is the real advertisememnts of these game, not some high end TV spot who show a hyperrealist video who have nothing to do with the real quality of the game...

The best thing that could happen for Sins-2 would be for it to be a first-rate, high-quality, perfectly polished game that is exceptional for online multiplayer.  If thousands of people would play it online and become fanatical about it, they would encourage and pressure their friends and other people to get the game and would market the game with their enthusiasm.
