October 1st already....happy birthday to all the Librans & Scorpios..... 
September was a great month for blinds...so Oct should be a great month for screenies...
My desktop to start the month, is smouldering greys, golds & oranges...lovin' it.... 
No offence but every single desktop I've seen on here is waaaaaaaaaayyyyy to cluttered.

SamStephenson I think folks are showing use thier desktops themes, things like Windows Taskbar, Start menu, docks and the like normallly are off screen if not in use.
If I want that, I'll stare at the television set in the "off" mode. Most of my "clutter" stays behind whatever application I'm using anyway, and I like my desktop properly bejeweled by my Object Dock, my calendar and my clock. I NEED my calendar and my clock to properly manage my work day.
True, and everything is just great! 
Well, would be a hugely BORING thread if everyone made clean uncluttered screenshots. Here's an actual screenshot from my secondary computer... Clean enough?:

Being new to WC....you may not realise the obligation we have in this screenshot thread...and in the screenshot gallery....to cover the wallpaper sufficiently so it cannot be extracted from our screenshots....unless it is our own wallpaper....
Actually it is, the monitor is kind of crappy, so brightness is way less than it used to be. 
Here's one of my own to show that not all are cluttered. I do have a few thing on my desktop though.

I would go so far as to say......some of our desktops......are positively.......Naked...... 
I was going to say .. 4 shots in 2 days? .. and i thought I changed my setup alot.
