UnRanked?

Dear GPG/SD,

  Hey, i was wondering if its possible to put in the option to make a game unranked? i.e. doesnt count toward stats. Why? Numerous reasons i'll list what i can think and if anyone has a better example or just thinks its a dumb idea please by all means add.

  Now, there are times when i just want to have a friendly match against my friends but even in that situation it usually takes a bit of prodding to get them to agree to fight against each other, and i will not deny the fact that the loss is a big reason for this. Ranked matches by thier nature often become heated even between friends, i think an unranked option would allow premades to play against each other and practice strategies more frequently.

 Another thing, experience players hate playing with noobs. Why because its like an auto-loss. Make it unranked and you'll find alot more experienced/pro players willing to teach new players the game, making them not only better players but have a better experience in general, as they'll no longer have for thier first game "WHAT THE F*** YOU NOOB GET OUT ALREADY" type starts.

 Is it possible to make this happen sometime soon? I understand the games supposed to be competitive but sometimes we (the competitive community also) just want to relax.

 

 For everyone who says stats dont matter, shush already. Stats are a big part of the game, a new player with low stats will find themselves booted from most games even if they are decent. On top of that stats are a big part of not just this game but in our culture. Sports, business, hell weight and exercise dotn tell me poeple dont care about stats.

I would like to test some things out with my online friends without it affecting my stats. However, this is a very low priority for me.

you mean that the game wount count at all? yes for that. because if it is just "unranked" - it shows up in the stats but the rank is uneffectet - the win-ratio will become bad and thats what maaany people look at actually.

an unranked option, would reduce "omg premade beat me" threads :D.

would also be great for practising strategies etc..

i am all for it. less stress on their stat tracking servers would be better overall imo.

When stats become visable in the game lobby a lot of "dodging" will take place.

Unranked will be a way the dodgers can play and not ruin their stats.
