Well if you have entrenchment starbases and things can change things a lot. You can find a lot of analysis of the new defensive structures in older strategy forum posts. If you're just using normal sins, the updates should give you a good idea, but basically with the mild nerf to carriers a lot of people are going back to LRM's now, though they are somewhat counterable with a "scout rush" (again see the strategy forum).
