minor races with incredible amounts of dough ???

How is it that a minor race with one wee planet always has 20k - 30k. I am talking I have seen a huge jump in income for a minor race in just a few turns. Any explanation on how these miracles occur. Are IA minor races programmed to have lots of money?

Only three trade routes. I sell my tech to them, and they always seem to have a fortune to spend.

I traded with a minor once so i could wipe out the majors. The infamous I-league, bastards, they declared war on me all of a sudden(politics) and they were loaded with cash. Trade not only makes you $ but the other party as well.
