How do you solve the problem of fighting between your allies?

It's really bothersome when two of my allies begin fighting each other and call me to attack each one's respective foe, which is also my ally. Then if I don't complete the missions, my standing with both of them falls. Besides simply choosing one ally to keep and another to betray, are there any ways to have allies of mine that are neutral or adverse towards one another to also ally with each other?

no not really, because as soon as one starts loosing, it will ask you to destroy the other, and when you destroy the other, they will ask you to destroy the one who asked you to destroy them.  just put the teams on lock mode.

Whatever teams you set at the begining of the match stay. No diplomacy changes allowed. If you are all on different teams you stay enemies until the bitter end. If you have an ally they will not give you missions and you cannot break the alliance. Neutral is not an option.

Thank you! By the way, once I select all the desired variables for the AI (such as "TEC - easy fortifier") and then lock it, the values I select will remain the same, correct?
