The rules are fairly simple here, we have a two sided topic and you just have to choose a side and present evidence why you chose that side. The topics will alternate and you can change sides. I will try and stay away from religious/inflammatory topics so dont post about them and respect other peoples beliefs.

Im starting small but we'll work our way up to more interesting topics. at the end ill tally the posts for each side and tell you who won and then we'll pick a new topic. feel free to suggest topics.

Well Plasma Cannons don't exist in the Tau arsenal so I'll stick with Railguns.

If only this was the "You Fail" forum game.  You would fail so hard for only playing Tau.  Plasma cannons are awesome.  They're a plasma gun with S8 and a blast template.  They're perfect for killng things with 3+ saves.  The IG even have the Leman Russ Executioner which has a Heavy 3 plasma cannon for its main weapon.  Your battlesuits can't repel firepower of that magnitude!

And I again exercise my right to choose none of the above.

Ouch?

I had to choose IG or Tau, the IG auction went to 120 USD, the Tau auction to 50ish I went with the cheaper.

It's my first army so It doesnt really bother me and I really like Tau fluff.

How can you not like plasma weapons?  Now I really know you're a foul xenos undeserving of existence in the Emperor's galaxy.  Plasma weapons are one of the Emperor's greatest gifts to mankind.  They're burny like fire and melty like meltas, only much, much hotter than fire, hot enough to melt through Terminator armor.  Yeah, that's right, your Broadsides can't take an armor save against plasma weapons.  A plasma gun is also Strength 7, letting it land penetrating hits against anything short of a Leman Russ, and plasma cannons are Strength 8, allowing them to damage AV14 vehicles.  Did I mention plasma cannons have a blast template allowing them to share the Emperor's bright glory with multiple models at once?  And the Leman Russ Executioner can fire three Strength 8 AP2 Blast shots per round, plus whatever sponson weapons it has, probably a plasma cannon each side, for a grand total of 5 Strength 8 AP2 Blast shots per round.  That's killier than a Hammerhead that's equipped with an Ion Cannon.  Suck it xenos scum!

Again, i ask, Eternal Light, or Eternal Darkness...If you were forced to choose between the two.  (I mean literally, not spiritually or anything else.  Spend your life in a place where it is never dark, or a place where it is never light?)

Again I say impossible. And i didnt only mean spiritually. Even in space there are stars and on the sun there are black spots.
