You know there is an exclusive forum dedicated to Demigod? Why dont you use it?

I am just wondering why people who play Demigod can't figure out how to get to the Demigod Forum... i mean you are only one jump away....

Not looking to start shit... although I am sure someone will... Im just curious, there are, what? 30 or more posts on the Stardock Games forum page... and like 27 of them are about Demigod...

Maybe keep it in your own forum and spare this one for appropriate threads =)

I'm glad you mentioned that because I was kind of wondering the same thing before.

Then I used Impulse's blog feature in order to write about my experiences with Demigod. There's a pane on the right side for you to select which forum you want to place your blog/thread. There was only two approximate options: Demigod journals (on which I was unable to post there) and Stardock games. Nothing else was that appropriate.

You see, I like the feature where posts are both seen in the Impulse community section and on a specific forum. I started using "My Impulse" just recently anyway. I noticed it was somewhat broken in this case, probably because there are tons of different forums to consider and link (forum structure too bloated?).

Even before that, I first tried to place that post in the multiplayer section of Demigod, but then didn't see it link to the community blog area and later noticed that the forum was being used mostly for player recruitment. Then I proceeded to write an updated blog about it but then had limited options.

So, at least for some, it's not a question of ignoring the proper forums, but a matter of limited options with the tools provided.

The other issue is that when you browse the forums via Impulse, it doesn't give a Demigod forum as an option.  You hit the Forums button, then Stardock games, but that's it.  It never gives a subcategory option for Demigod.

Have you scrolled to the bottom of the page when you go to Stardock games? I just went to the Stardock page, scrolled to the bottom, and Lo and Behold, there was a dedicated Demigod forum, and none of that Demigod Journals whatever stuff.

Im not attacking your right to post in forums etc, but I mean, far out, out of the 30/40 posts on the stardock page, 98% of them are about Demigod!

That shows up when you write a blog on My Impulse, not when you browse the forums from Impulse.

There are indeed Sub Categories that people can select while in the Stardock Games forum, from Impulse, including Demigod.
