Stop kicking me. Seriously. 250 ping is NOT too high. The fact I live in Australia is not going to lag the game. 

See, this game uses magical thing called netlag. It means that anyone below 350 is, is going to well have 350 latency. This means 0-350 ping is going to give identical performance. The guy with 50 ping is going to be just as laggy as my 300 ping (and laggier if his comp or connection sucks).

So, guys, stop kicking me. It just makes it impossible for me to get a game, because Aussie players are rare, and if I want to play I have no choice but join US games.

we still won, but there should be a limit on ping, like 700, i doubt that its distance.

btw it took about 40-50 minutes every other second it would stop-go-stop.....painful.

Traditionally this term refers to the delay that occurs when a large amount of users are "on" the information superhighway, or when a dirty connection slows down the retrieval of data from a server.

I'm not from there, but I knew. But it's not a bad thing if you don't know it. What IS bad is that you don't know that the entire world population is 6 something billion, so 10 billion in America alone would be impossible.

i believe china has the biggest population  so  if thaey have the biggest and  americaa has 3 billion that  leaves maxe 4 billion for the rest off the world that is stupid

Funny how SD speaks so highly about reducing latency via P2P then introduces a standardized 350ms netlag. Fuck a server/client system setup per region basis could offer a betetr latency solution. On a side note I generally don't mind playing with people with high ping if i've successfully played with them before. That being said I usually am not open to 250+ ms players from Australia and Europe due to the higher risk of packet loss, game splits and ridiculous spikes.
