Textbook Scandals Part 2...Texas Defining Marriage

I've already read about the Evolution theory scandal having to do with Textbooks...There's another one here in Texas Dealing with how you teach marriage in Schools. There have new Health Books approved that will specifically define marriage as that occuring between a man and a woman. It can no longer be worded "when two people get married", but "when a man and woman get married"...
There has been talk that this will set a trend for other states to do the same. Texas is the 2nd biggest buyer of textbooks in the country, and other states follow their lead when it comes to choosing textbooks.
wow..are we going right or are we going right...

Back when I was in high school (in a tiny Texas town) our health teacher (a coach) made us skip over the entire chapter covering reproduction because he didn't think we were "mature enough" to learn it yet . . .
teaching tolerance would make this world a better place...and i'm not really saying this as a political stance...I just honestly feel hey...if a man wants to marry a man..a woman wants to marry a woman...who are we to get in the middle of it?...It's their life..i wouldnt want anyone telling me what is the right or wrong way to love...
