I was reading Yahoo! News as I am apt to do in the morning, and I saw a story and a picture that just boggled my mind made me want, no.... need to write this entry.



I am looking at those bottles, with their cloudy strangely colored liquids, and the thought of drinking what's inside makes me want to ralph... it looks nasty.... I mean, who wants to drink a Turkey and Gravy flavored beverage from a bottle!? or Green Bean casserole.?! I mean, that's just... ACK!

Now, I generally like the flavors that Jones Soda has come out with... but these "creations" are just foul looking, and I can't imagine what they would taste like. I mean, what's next... an eggnog flavored soda for Christmas? Oh wait... for the Thanksgiving Holiday pack, they have a Fruitcake one..... so I guess they are already thinking ahead.

Comfort food shouldn't come in a bottle, should it?

umm... Pepsi I think has come out with a "holiday flavored" soda, I heard it advertised on the radio the other day, very disparaging about egg nog too, but I think they mentioned that it was spiced like egg nog, will have to see if I can find a bottle and try it, don't sound too bad.

I make my own beer on occasion and have made holiday spiced beers, that are actually quite good (well better than you would think they would be at least).

Turkey Dinner Ice Cream Float

1 Bottle of Jones Turkey and Gravy Soda
1 Bottle of Jones Mashed Potatoes Soda
1 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
1 Scoop Chocolate Ice Cream
2 Tablespoons of uncooked Stove Top Stuffing

Blend until smooth, and serve with 2 straws..... then puke at your earliest convenience....
