Why is the Kol's hangar mounted guns classed as a laser?
You know, the three that fire in order? If anything it seems to fire slow moving cannon type blasts that have a uniqe impact, not really close to the quick Red laser you see everywhere else.

It could just be an oversight, they look and act like cannons at any rate.
They look and sound so powerful (buff) but start at only 8 DPS?!?!
Same with the beam weapons (buff).
I made a quick and simple mod that increased the Kol beam weapons x10. It was beautiful.
It sliced and it diced.
Lol, yeah. I always felt that for a 4-pronged beam weapon the damage seemed under-powered. I'm glad that they included tech to improve the TEC beams in Entrenchment.

average damage shows figures in cooldown, but not duration
Kol's beams have a 4 second fire time paired with a 14 second cooldown.
(4/14*128) you're getting about 36 DPS.
at level 10 you have a +27% to weapon cooldown and 45% bonus to damage, which brings it to about 73 DPS according to my calculations.
by comparison, Advent's radiance's front beams do 60 DPS to start with.
(105*4/7)=60
again getting a +27% cooldown and +45% to damage(seems to be common?), you end up with 119 DPS. someone care to check these numbers?
neither factor in any upgrades.
