Vasari enemy?

So my game was loading the other day and this preloading concept art of some sort of ship loaded. It was organic, with a "sphincter" labelled on its bottom end. If I had to describe it as anything, I would say it looked like the reapers off of "mass effect".

Is this concept art an allusion to the Vasari arch nemesis? Or just concept art that somehow radically transitioned to TEC, Advent or Vasari ships? I really think it is distinctly different. Am I the only one who has noticed this?

Did it have two sections with green energy tendrils?

If so, you are most likely talking about the concept art for the Vasari SB. It looks pretty different from the final version.

That might have been it but whatever it was, it was very organic, and not vasari like. Surprised the model changed so much.
