Entrenchment

I just downloaded entrenchment.  As for a first time ever downloading a game expansion instead of buying a retail one, I must say I am really impressed with the speed of the process and the low cost as well.

I have to agree, I bought and downloaded both the original SoaSE and Entrenchment through Impulse, and it was painless.  I just patched them both this last weekend, and that was also painless.  If this is the future of computer gaming (or even console gaming), I am all for it.

I have seen quite a few more posts complaining than praising this new system, and I just felt that this was a particularly relevant post, and that I needed to express my positive reaction to Impulse and IC in general.

Thanks for a great game!

I really like Stardock and Impluse.  I actually have to say I enjoy it more than Steam as Impulse makes it nice and easy to get to the forums, chat, etc.  I'm about to buy Entrenchment as we speak!

Agreed. Though its disappointing to hear many ppl still dun know about this game (back home)

Was showing them and were impressed by the game play

I normally can not stand RTS games.  But man this one is like crack.  I hated the Starcraft series, etc.  I can easily melt away 6+ hours and not even realise it lol..
