if you pre-order entrenchment, will an actual disc be sent to you when it is released in it's final version? and if you order multiple copies will you get multiple copies that you move/install on several computers or is it one file that you can install on several computers?

Entrenchment is as of now only available as a download. Pre-ordering now will allow you to participate in the beta, if you like.

About the multiple copies... I'm not sure, how Impulse handles this. Maybe if you want to install on several machines, use different accounts to order one copy each.

What does not work, is just moving the whole game folder to another PC ;-D

can i redownload it if my computer(s) i install it on gets trashed? because i do a lot of computer component swapping and there have been times things have screwed up really bad

I don't see why not.  As long as you have a valid serial key, you should be able to log onto Impulse and download it.  Just keep your Impulse login info and your serial key somewhere where you can get at it.

Yes, the registration gets attached to your Stardock account and you can re-download it as many times as you like. It has no activations or hardware checks or any of that kind of nonsense.

I suppose so, but I'm not sure why you'd want to :P You're allowed to have it installed on 2 pcs, you can just log into your account on the other PC and re-download it. Or make an archive and burn it on a dvd, then restore the archive with Impulse on the other pc.

Our system does not handle mutiple registrations of the same item well, so if you wish to purchase multiple copies, it's best to use separate accounts. As noted though if you only want to put the game on two machines at home to play together, you can do that with just one copy.
