I have AVG anti-virus if that helps any. I'm also on XP.

I'm having trouble installing impulse thru the link in the downloads section; after i get it all downloaded and try to run the install, it asks my permission to continue twice, once for unknown publisher, and the other for user account control; and then a InstallAware (oneword) Wizard window comes up that says "Cannot start setup - the setup file may be corrupt, or you may have the wrong password.  If you downloaded this file, please download a fresh copy.  If the file is password protected, check your password and try again."

I use Vista, and have v1.05 Sins, CD retail tho updated

odd, now it says "C:\Users...impulse_setup_full.exe is not a valid Win32 application.  and it only asks for permission once, bcuz of publisher

Sounds like you need to redownload it. Your EXE is corrupt.

We have noticed that several people have had the same troubles. We don't know what would cause it but if you choose to run the software instead of downloading and then running the set up file you can get incomplete or corrupt downloads. We are trying to find the cause but for the mean time we suggest to everyone that they download the whole file, run the install, restart, then just delete the set-up file if they wish.
