Well it seems like a few game sites are starting to pick on SDs now officially recognized Q1 publishing strategy. The latest report comes from Joystiq. Would you like to know more? Then follow the link. Frogboy "broke" the policy to gamasutra last week in an interview.

I've gotta be honest, to me SD has a Q2-3 release policy, because every game of theirs since galciv 2 (bless brian clevinger for posting a link of that pc gamer article on 8-bit theater) I've preordered, including elemental sometime this week, and I've gotta be honest, sins beta 2 was my favorite game during it's lifspan, but I really like the idea, even if summer seems to have an even bigger dearth of games and have a little more time since the wallet-emptying glut of games in Q4.

Way too soon for GalCiv III.  Maybe, *maybe*, the game after Elemental -- but I'd bet the game after that, at the earliest.  Good news is I'd expect Society to come in there somewhere too.
