Imperium Romanum

Your opinion?

Hi,

I was browsing Impulse and came accross Imperium Romanium.

It looked interesting so I pulled up reviews from various sites.

The problem is that the reviews were mixed,  ranging from 3.5 to 8.

That's a pretty wide range.... So, I was wondering if anyone has played it, and what they think?

I've played it extensively and think it's a decent city building game. Personally, I think that the criticisms levelled against it by some reviews are valid, but that the scores are really out of whack.

I'd rate it about 7 or 7.5 out of 10. Not groundbreaking, but solid with attention to detail. The scenarios offer a wide selection of difficulties, nice landscape graphics. If you like city building, you'll like Imperium Romanum.
