how do i make a group , am doint the tutorial and ctrl+1 is not working ??

When you have the group you want selected holt ctrl and press 1. If this doesn't work check your key bindings in the menu.

And replying to your own post 12 minutes after it is made will annoy people and make them not want to help you.
