Need help a bit on patching...

For patching, if the folder is different from the Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins, can you just copy the files that was used in 1.05 patch into the folder that you install it?

I used Thai version and the default folder is Program Files\Kalypso\Sins, and the patch install files into Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins...

Also...will Impulse recognize the folder placement if it's not in Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins?

And you have a working, registered serial key? I am not aware of any Thai translation of the game--Kalypso in particular is only distributing the game in Europe, so if you have an actual Thai-language box then it is likely a bootleg.

In any case, the patch should detect the game's location from the registry, regardless where it was installed at.

Well...New Era got to distribute the game from Kalypso...so, you know...and it's English, though...only the manual's Thai...(strange...seems that they got distribution right from the distribution company got its distribution right from Stardock...doubly thing?)...and serial works...

Thanks, by the way...

Hmm, that's news to me, I'm not sure if that's supposed to happen. I'll have to look into it, thanks for bringing it up. At least it is legitimate, though.

Let us know if you have any further issues.

Oh...the licensing thing was only my guess, though...it can be wrong...so, don't get too much about it...I've been waiting for a long time to acquire legitimate copy in Thailand...(I thought at first there's no hope...at least I got it now...)

It seems that Kalypso is authorized to do that after all... they just didn't bother telling us that they'd done so already :p
