Chase Enemy Fleet Command. PLEASE :)

find myself having to micro chase enemy fleey

Just thinking that I often have to stay and micro a fleet in order that it chases an retreating enemy fleet

Would be nice if whenever the retreating enemy fleet was sighted you could have ships set to hunt them down. Offcourse if contact is totally lost then your ships wait.

I mean, right-clicking on an enemy ship will have on of your ships (or a fleet) pursue it... it's not automatic, but it's not 'micro' by any means. I believe they will follow the enemy ships through phase jumps, but I don't quite remember.

cool, i will try attack move then, if its different from attack

atack move doesnt always work for me in this situation, sometimes enemy fleets jump away from a different direction, only a handfull of my fleet wil pursue the retreating force and get;s destroyed if im playing a player oponent who's paying enough attention:P

the rest of the fleet continues it's attack move to an abondomed part of orbit
kinda frustrating when he gives an all-out retreat in to my territory



(made me lose the game couple of times)
