Get the July 2008 issue of PC Gamer

image The July issue of PC Gamer has arrived and for fans of Sins of a Solar Empire, it's definitely a collector's item. It includes a complete modding guide that walks through Galaxy Forge and provides tips on how to create your own mods.

It also includes a column by Brett Todd that goes over some of their favorite mods including "7 Deady Sins" by Danman, Dawn of Victory by Slipstream Productions, Sins Plus by UZII, the Texture Pack by Max Tael and more!

And if that wasn't enough, it includes a preview of The Political Machine 2008, a new political strategy game coming out in June from the same team that designed and developed Galactic Civilizations II.

And if that isn't enough, it also includes a really good round-up of this summer's top video cards.

I saw it at my local grocery store's magazine rack just last night.

I have to say, it was pretty awesome seeing my "name" in the magazine  :)

I also to say that is was awesome, if not mindblowing, to see my name there. I wrote a huge speech in the other post. It is really an honor to have my name side by side with other great modders, whose mods are part of mine, and the developers of SINS.
To be in the greatest pc gaming mag, is truely an experience, and resume material.

How about caps lock?

Like that? I'm just frustrated because I know Stardock rocks with their support, but there has been no update on TPM's website for those of us who pre-ordered and expected a beta by May 8th, according to Brad's posted release schedule. Despite several forum posts on that site pleading for info, nothing is forthcoming, unless you come to the galciv2 website and get pointed to a gaming magazine. If Stardock can post about it here, you'd think they'd be able to take 2 minutes to post an update at the game's own website?
