Man this is one of the most awesome mods I have ever played, its for hw2 BUT should be for sins aswell....

I will go look in the mod section now... sorry just really excited after seeing how good it looks and how smooth and revolutionary the ideas and gameplay are.....well for a mod.

Okay, you need to clarify what you're asking for. If you're looking for IronClad to put out a BattleStar version of their game, the answer is likely a HUGE "no", because they're a small company and getting the intellectual property license for the arguably most successful SF TV series in recent memory would cost millions. The same would be true for anyone looking to actually make money off of game sales due to the existence of such a mod - the BSG intellectual property rights owners would simply sue them, and rightly so.

If you're looking for someone to produce a modification for it as a sort of free fan-project, like the people did in that Homeworld 2 mod, you'd best look around on the Modifications forums here. I'd be willing to bet you're not the only person with that idea.

This post was rather a "spur of the moment" thing.
I was so impressed initially, that I just had to ask in general on this forum while\
my inspiration was fresh...

I want a mod to be made for SOSE that is better than this hw2 mod. Better yet, I'd love SOSE to have all the hw2 features aswell in an expansion ;)

It does look cool though. I started watching the first season of BSG when I bought sins lol. I call it the "campaign" aspect of my new game.

Several modders are working on a BSG mod for SINS, including myself.
I already have models for Galactica itself, a Base star, Vipers, and Cylon Raiders.

Would be great to see more content on BSG.
