Our Solarsystem (under construktion)

i create a mod for our sol-sys.

the idea was different sizes vor every planet, so as real the moon is a little mouse and the gasgiants are big bad lions.

Awesome thanks!

Now I need to figure out how to play it. Can't see a map in the new game section.

there isnt any map yet but you can create one with the map editor and the new planets are all in there to pick. Just remember its a beta version.

You mean GalaxyForge or the Map Creator? And if so are they named anything unique to differentiate from the stock models?

the map creator and yes they have unique names (mars, pluto, jupiter and so on).
It should be also mentioned that these planets have random stats, meaning they simply have the stats of ice planets, volcanics and so on and that some textures of planets are not included yet (suns are also not complete).
Anyways im sure Cybdevil will give some exact infos about it soon. ^^

Wow the textures are jaw dropping I just hope this mod isn't dead.

I hope progress hasn't ceased. I'd love to see this merged in with 7 Deadly Sins eventually.

Hey I just thought about something aside from how jaw droppingly awesome this is. Are you doing Pluto? I mean it sounds stupid, but really, are you just wondering since it got demoted and if you did... well could you make a new planet class? Some scientists are starting to consider Pluto and Charon (its moon) to be twin dwarf planets. The reason is that Charon is more than half of Pluto's size, so it excerts a significant pull on Pluto.

But enough with the science lesson, the suggestion is that you could make Pluto be two ice world looking spheres, that are close together that the computer treats as one image. In the image creator (whatever you use) for the image of "Pluto", draw two ice worlds, one at one size and the other at 55% of the first. That way when loaded in the game, it would treat Pluto and Charon as one single planet (since the might as well be)

I don't know if this would work but its an idea...

oh and you're english is actually really good, a few missing articles on occassion, but for the vast majority is perfect and is obviously completely understandable.
