Hello everyone, just wanted to give you all an update on our progress!
Currently we have a build that is beta-able...However, we are attempting to resolve some game/mod startup (not game start), but when you first run sins with the mod, stability issues. Right now we are getting minidumps that are seemingly random, sometimes the mod starts fine, sometimes it crash 1-4 or 5 times in a row and will then start fine.
That said, once in game the mod runs great! We have added a lot of new content that was not previously in 7 deadly sins, here is a brief but in no way conclusive list:
-Removed galaxy spiral textures, now when you zoom out on multistar maps you see small star icons
-The Empire now has the ECLIPSE titan , the SSD Executor is a capital ship
-The atlantians titan is now the Avatar (it was formerly a capital ship), other races titans are in currently in development (except TCA which utilizes the kick-assness of the Ragnarov model)
-Our very own Neutron Star
-Companion stars are no longer colonizeable; however they now have heavily armed inhabitants which include a capturable (and permanent) starbase that can be used as a remote factory and gives a large bonus to resource income. it can also be captured by enemy forces in the same way that YOU captured it from its original owner, so be sure to defend it, it does come with its own (pretty nasty) defenses. Companion stars also now feature a healthy amount of neutral resource extractors
-TCA "offensive" and "defensive" military doctrines have been fully implemented, all that remains is some balancing and addition of a few abilities
-Some planets have been resized (the ice planet has been made smaller than others, for example)
-New Plasma planet
There is a ton of other stuff, but I can't remember it all off the top of my head. Anyways, we will keep you all posted on any strides we make as we get more near the beta phase. Which essentially depends on how quickly we can address the stability issues!
