Galaxy Set-up Issue/request

There seems to be a small random map with no pirates and a medium random map with no pirates, but I cannot find a large or huge random map with no pirates. Is there one? Has someone made one?

There isn't one by default, no. Not sure if someone's made one, random ones aren't really designed, but there should probably be some big user made maps without.

Also if you use the in-game map maker you can have them as large as you want and just remove all the pirates :)

The in-game map-maker is not exactly friendly or quick, IMO, though it is powerful . I'd like it if the devs put in a random map gererator, one that I could specify size, pirates on-off and the number of AI opponents...and that's all I need...and this thermos, too.

There was a lot of discussion about options to disable pirates on maps, and Ironclad hinted that they were thinking of putting it in in some form, so I wouldn't be surprised if it pops up in an upcoming patch ;)

That said, the in-game map maker isn't very bad at all once you get a little used to it :)
