How to speed up a single player game - SP tip

I've seen a lot of people complaining about the pace of the game and/or how long some matches can get. I also complained about the length of some matches. However, for those of you who play Single Player, do you realize you can hit + and - to control the speed of the game? (it's actually = and - if you don't have a keypad) You can multiply the game speed up to 8 times faster than fast. It's in increments of 2. For me, this makes singleplayer bouts much more entertaining since there's a lot of action mixed in with down time. You can simply "fast forward" through the down time. I never realized this until I accidentally hit the +/= key and sped up my game. I know some of you also probably didn't know about this since there's a laundry list of key mappings and it's easy to overlook. Try hitting - or +/= in a single player game to change the pace to your liking.

This does not work in multiplayer, as far as I know. Obviously not everyone has action and down time at the same time, so it's good that it doesn't work. However, additional speeds would be nice for multiplayer play.
