Not On Shelves In Southern Ontario

Been looking from Toronto to Kitchener for a week now, have not seen a single copy at EB Games, Futureshop, Walmart, BestBuy Kitchener say's they never actually got any copies?

What's with the Southern Ontario distribution?

I know I can download it, but I tend to collect these things. Still have the first computer game I ever purchased on the shelf in my office.

It seems a lot of stores have been ordering small quantities, selling out quickly, then continuing to only order small quantities. They expect strategy games to sell poorly, and don't bother changing their order quantities when they're proven wrong... and the game keeps selling out. This issue seems to be particularly bad in Canada. So if you want a retail copy, the best recommendation would be to find out *when* they're getting it in, and be there when it does.

You might be able to talk them into "reserving" a copy for you out of their next shipment -- some stores are nicer about this than others (EB Games would be your best bet).

I just ordered my copy directly from Stardock. You get to download the game right away, and they mail you a hard copy. Best deal i've seen!

Ok,

A certain store (name withheld to protect the one copy coming in, somewhere between Toronto & London) is getting one copy today. I blatantly bought them coffee this morning so they'd tuck it away......

The things we simmers have to do, I tell ya......

Downloading is fine, but I collect these things. So I like to have the packaging !!! They really need to get more of these in the stores, no doubt it's costing them sales. I mean who brings one or two copies of anything in???

The EB in Sudbury On got 2 or 3 copies only. The staff thought it was dumb since "everybody" had been asking for it. Oh well, good luck in finding a copy.

The EB Games near me ordered only a few copies to start, but have ramped up their orders as they are constantly selling out of them. The problem here is that they are still only getting maybe 2 or 3 in each shipment.

You would think that they would order more copies initially. Heck when I went to my gamestop, they only had one copy that was still in the shipping box yet they got 9 copiers of Turok for the 360.

EB Games Canada, WalMart Canada and Best Buy/Futureshop are your best bets to find the game.

The only store I've found it at is EB Games. Nothing at the other suppliers.
