Achievement question

Just wondering, with achievements that require you to beat multiple hard AIs, do you need to have all the AIs on the same team or can it be in a FFA?

You can kill them in FFA no problems (I won a 10 player huge map FFA vs the hard AI, and all the achievements were completed when I'd finished).

ok, cause I did a 4 player FFA but didn't get any of the achievements. Although I did befriend one of the AIs so that's probably why it didn't work.
